O Visas are issued pursuant to [INA §101(a)(15)(O), 8 U.S.C. §1101(a)(15)(O)
O-1 Visa is issued pursuant to 8 C.F.R. §214.2(o)(1)(i):
O-1A issued to a person who "has extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics which has been demonstrated by sustained national or international acclaim." 8 C.F.R. §214.2(o)(1)(ii)(A)(1).
O-1B issued to a person If in motion picture or TV production, the person must have "a demonstrated record of extraordinary achievement." Person needs to demonstrate that his or her achievements have been recognized in the field "through extensive documentation." 8 C.F.R. §214.2(o)(1)(ii)(A)(2).
O-2 Visa is issued pursuant to 8 C.F.R. §214.2(o)(1)(ii)(B):
O-2 visa is issued to persons accompanying and assisting an O-1 artist or athlete for a specific event or events so long as the person is:
(1) an integral part of such actual performance.
(2) has critical skills and experience with the O-1 that are not of a general nature and which cannot be performed by other individuals.
(a) For motion picture or TV productions, person has critical skills and experience which are not general, and which are based on a preexisting long-standing working relationship.
(3) has foreign residence which s/he has no intention of abandoning.
O-3 Visas are issued pursuant to C.F.R. §214.2(o)(6)(iv)and designated for spouses and children accompanying and following to join O-1/O-2 visa holders.
